These two computer-generated
pictures show the aspect of the gate (that has totally
disappeared today) and its surroundings back in 1312 compared
with its current look.
The Tour Salvaing manor is still
here in 2002 and its general aspect has not changed since the
14th century. Only the top of the tower has been erased to
level the roof.
The 14th century wall still exists alongside the creek. The
bricks that can be found under the modern bridge are supposed
to come from the second level of the gate.
