The Castle

Ruined walls can still be seen. An orientation table has been put in place were the keep was, with a beautiful overlooking view of the Isère valley and the Combe de Savoie towards Chambéry.

Close to the orientation table, the excavation with stone walls is not a water pit but the interior of the old keep

The Fortified Village

The medieval village was at the right of the castle, which walls can still be seen on this picture facing East. 14th century curtain walls of the village can still be seen when taking a small trail towards the creek.

Spectacular view from the South. Old village walls can still be seen from this side. Natural defenses from the creek gorge can also be noticed (Bellecombe stands for "nice gorge").
