A Simple Building

The castle displays a rectangular shape of 60 x 40 meters (180 x 120 feet)

The east side, facing the Isère valley is guarded by 2 towers in both angles. The keep includes a large round tower, a small chapel and the buildings where the lord and his people were living.

The other sides and the doors are defended by hoardings (wooden superstructures).

Several other buildings are scattered against the walls of the castle in the bailey.
